Chapter 2765 The Power of Hemokinesis

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!

Amare summersaulted across the entire facility as a flood of blood chased after her, threatening to drown and crush her in its shockingly powerful force. The Omni-Martial's expression grew grave as she realized that the Blood Goddess was much, much stronger than the last time they fought.

If not for the Dance of Terra imparted to her by the Shield of Gaia himself, she would not have been able to withstand her opponent's offense for this long without sustaining any injuries. It was only thanks to the especially powerful earth-bending of the Nest of Terra that deployed the latent seismic potential of Gaia that she was able to ward off the ever-growing power of the Blood Goddess.

And yet, her opponent's growth in power seemed limitless.

The more blood she produced, the stronger she grew. It was unfair.

Such power was simply broke the paradigms of Martial Art.

Raw power was not something that was supposed to be able to grow in the middle of a battle. And yet, the Blood Goddess shattered this paradigm, increasing the net metabolic rate of energy production. Because she had more blood, she produced more molecules of ATP, Adenosine Triphosphate, which served as the fundamental unit of chemical potential energy.

It increased her energy reserves while also increasing her energy consumption and raw output.

It was in that moment that Rui realized that her reproductive compatibility with the Blood Goddess was truly only half the reason that she was so special. "She's a monster."

In that moment, he felt a sharp pang of regret at having allowed Amare to fight this battle to protect him. On one hand, he trusted her. On the other hand, he would have loved to test himself against the Blood Goddess. He purposely avoided using his systems of thought while observing to ensure that he didn't spoil the fight ahead of time. As it was, he had almost no opponents in the Master Realm who could challenge him; preparation simply skewed the odds in his favor to an even greater degree.

The Blood Goddess was truly one of the most special Martial Masters he had run into. Her Martial Body was nothing short of a miracle, and her Martial Path had greater synergy with her Body, unlike anything he had ever seen in his entire life.

And yet— @@@@

A smile cracked at the edge of his mouth.

"Do not underestimate the Omni-Martial."

In that moment, the Blood Goddess experienced more frustration than she ever had. "Why do you interfere?"

Her voice was laced with cold fury.

"Why do you insist on making my life harder?"

Her blood-red pupils crackled with murderous rage.

"Just stay out of my way!"

She unfolded her body, stretching as she spread her arms, unleashing all the blood that she was able to produce.

She saturated her circulatory system with far more blood than a normal body would be able to tolerate. This, in turn, increased the supply of oxygen to ever cell, causing her Martial Heart to glow even brighter.

It was as though she was applying the Megamind technique across her entire Body.

RUMBLE

The world shook as she approached her absolute limit, generating more raw power than almost any other Martial Master possibly could. She had generated many, many kilograms of blood that floated about before surrounding Amare from all directions, forming what appeared to be a domain of blood.

Amare gritted her teeth with a grave expression as she understood the sheer gravity of the situation.

There was no escape.

She needed to weather what was going to come with her own power stacked up against that of the Blood Goddess.

The air boiled with tension tumultuously as the Blood Goddess only grew stronger and stronger, generating more and more blood until she has literally sealed off every ounce of escape that the Omni-Martial had.

"Now then," the Blood Goddess' whisper was as menacing as it was gentle. "Perish."

BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
