#1765 - A new disaster, the seven beauties of Pansi Cave?
As the story goes, Tang Sanzang and his disciples were once again traveling west, heading towards their next tribulation.
Along the way, they traversed several mountains and five or six plains, making for a difficult and lengthy journey.
But Tang Sanzang was full of energy.
Especially after leaving Zhu Zi Kingdom, he felt his whole body brimming with power.
Although the demonic energy had calmed down, the benefits it brought meant that Tang Sanzang was no longer as weak as before.
The group stopped by a small stream as it was time for Tang Sanzang's daily exercise.
Although he no longer required his disciples to join him, he was incredibly disciplined, exercising at fixed times in the morning, noon, and evening.
Zhu Bajie, holding the water that Sha Seng handed him, watched Tang Sanzang, who was practicing with vigor, and muttered, "Master is bewitched."
"Indeed, ever since we left Zhu Zi Kingdom, Master hasn't ridden the horse at all; he's been walking," Sha Seng said, shaking his head as he looked at the white horse drinking water.
Hearing this, Zhu Bajie's eyes lit up, and he whispered, "Sha Junior Brother, what do you think about me telling Master that I'll ride the horse? It's a waste not to ride it."
Sha Seng rolled his eyes at him upon hearing this, "You want to ride? Keep dreaming."
"What's wrong with that? Immortal Lord is a god and doesn't need it at all. Monkey Bro is full of energy and can travel a hundred and eight thousand miles with a single somersault. As the second senior brother, don't I have the right?" Zhu Bajie retorted.
As he spoke, he got up and walked towards the white horse, stroking its smooth fur, "Little White Horse, are you willing to let me ride you?"
Hiss—
The white horse immediately let out a sharp cry, then kicked its hind legs, sending Zhu Bajie straight into the stream.
"Ouch!" Zhu Bajie cried out in pain, climbing out of the stream soaking wet, "You dead horse, you really don't know what's good for you."
This scene brought smiles to the faces of Sun Wukong and the others.
… …
On the other side, in a region with long-running earth veins and towering mountains, there was a cave dwelling that appeared particularly special. It was lush with trees and fragrant flowers, with wisps of mist drifting through it, resembling a paradise on earth.
Within the cave dwelling, there were seven spider demons who had attained enlightenment. They liked to transform into beautiful women, wandering the mountains and forests, luring mortals who were captivated by their beauty, tricking them into the cave dwelling, and then killing them.
One day, an auspicious cloud landed in front of the cave dwelling, and Guanyin emerged, her voice ethereal, "Seven little demons, why haven't you come to see me?"
As soon as she finished speaking, seven beautiful and alluring women rushed out of the cave dwelling. When they saw Guanyin, their faces filled with fear, and they immediately knelt down and kowtowed, "Bodhisattva, spare us! Bodhisattva, spare us!"
They thought that their man-eating deeds had incurred the Bodhisattva's wrath, and that she wanted to eliminate them, so they were naturally terrified.
"Hmm? Could it be that you are unwilling?" Guanyin asked hesitantly, slightly displeased.
The seven spider demons immediately kowtowed, "It's not that, Bodhisattva. We've heard that Tang Sanzang's eldest disciple, Sun Wukong, is incredibly powerful. If he finds out, we're afraid our lives will be in danger."
The seven spider demons had naturally heard of Tang Sanzang's great name.
