Chapter 2556: Bringer of Salvation

The past five years had not been good to the Kingdom of Ucrea. The powerful Master-level powerhouse in East Panama was decently far from the domain of influence of the four Sage- level powerhouses and had a deep amount of independence and autonomy from their suffocating influence.

Until, of course, the war began.

The war for allies put a tremendous amount of pressure on the nation to pick a side. The terrifying brutal threats from the East Panamic Treaty Alliance on one side and the tantalizing offers of the Kandrian Empire on the other side.

To say they were paralyzed was an understatement.

They were frozen.

In some ways, the Beast Incursion was a breath of relief.

This was not a complicated situation, just a difficult one.

Until, of course, they realized it was too difficult.

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!

"Hold the line!" one Master bellowed with a grim expression. "We mustn't allow them to pass!"

More than a dozen Masters exerted the sum totality of their power to hold the line of monsters and beasts that ravaged against the resistance that the Ucrean Martial Artists offered.

An endless horde of Master-level and quasi-Sage-level beasts and monsters rampaged in a menacing frenzy.

Ordinarily, Martial Masters were fully capable of wiping Master-level beasts from the face of the world and entirely capable of going toe to toe with quasi-Sage-level beasts.

But not when there were dozens and dozens of such beasts.

Not all nations possessed the power to withstand the Beast Incursion over long spans of time. Unfortunately, as time passed by since the inception of the Beast Incursion, it became increasingly clear that the Kingdom of Ucrea was among the nations that couldn't keep up.

"HOLD!" the Master at the forefront of the resistance bellowed with desperation. She gritted her teeth as she desperately exerted every ounce of her power. Her Martial attire featured the Royal Ucrean insignia.

The queen of the Ucrea had been forced to partake in the battle herself as the most powerful Martial Artist in the entire Kingdom.

Unfortunately, she wasn't enough.

They weren't enough.

"Rrrgh!" One Master collapsed as the beast and monster stampede overcame his resistance.

A rush of skyscale drakes, silver griffons, dark manticores, and countless other monsters overwhelmed the falling defenses of the Martial Masters.

They rampaged in the direction of the Kingdom of Ucrea, all but ready to destroy everything and everyone.

"NO!!!" Pure horror erupted in the eyes of the Ucrean Queen as she watched what should have been the destruction of her entire kingdom.

And yet, it wasn't.

Their personal hells.

RUMBLE!!!

"RRROOOAAARRR!!!"

"KRRRIIIEEEKKKK!!!"

"RRRAAAWWWRRR!!!"

The beasts and monsters roared in pain as illusion became reality.

The very world around them had become their personal hells, impeding the most basic life functions in their bodies without needing to damage them through their tough hides and

exteriors.

This was the true meaning of adaptive evolution.

This was what it meant to be water.

Before the Forge of Creation, he would have only been able to use Muspelheim or Niflheim or some of his other domains against the various beasts and monsters. This was highly sub-

optimal and highly inefficient.

It was bad adaptive evolution.

With the Forge of Creation, he could truly start living up to the ideal that he had set for

himself.

WHOOSH

The world returned to normal once he let go of his grip over it.

The once-menacing stampede of monsters and animals were reduced to carcasses. Some had their brains boiled in a domain of high heat due to having a cerebral fluid with a low boiling point. Some were deprived of every ounce of blood in their body due to a low-pressure environment causing all the high pressure inside their bodies to blast out into the open.

Each of them suffered medical crises brought about by the environment that the domain

created.

And just like that, each and every one of them were dead.

Queen Carme gazed at the silhouette of his figure in the rising sun of dawn with deep awe and

admiration. His black hair swayed in the cool winds that brushed over heaven and earth gently while his pitch black eyes shifted to all them.

"My name is Rui Quarrier Silas Kandria and I offer power to all of you in return for a place to

rest."
