Chapter 2705 Brain
As he fleshed out his ideas, he started to get a better understanding of the sheer complexity that went into creating the Squire Evolution process.
"Whoever created this centuries ago, they were a genius."
Strangely enough, the exact origin of the Squire Evolution process was not known. The original Squire died in his valiant attempts to spread the knowledge while he fought against his oppressors.
His efforts succeeded, and the Squire Evolution process spread like wildfire across the entirety of the Panama Continent, creating the first Martial Revolution that ushered in the Age of Martial Art.
"To think that something like this could have been thought of so long ago..."
Of course, there was no doubt that the Squire Evolution process back then was extremely primitive. It was a known fact that Squires from that were only around as strong as modern Apprentices, while Apprentices back then were merely viewed as highly elite warriors as opposed to definitively superhuman in their power.
"More importantly, how am I going to replicate the gamma radiation needed to cause changes in DNA?"
Actually, that wasn't even the biggest concern. It wasn't too difficult for him to create gamma radiation with the Forge of Creation.
"I need to be extremely careful with how much gamma radiation I subject to the Apprentice."
The gamma radiation would serve as a change and allow for a genetic divergence to occur, allowing for the birth of superhuman cells, which could go on to become the norm. However, too much exposure and it could cause permanent damage and cripple lifespan.
This was the biggest problem with gamma radiation and also why the Squire Evolution process had a limit and couldn't continue forever and ever.
"I also need to be extremely careful with the brain."
This was arguably the most critical part of the Squire Evolution process. He needed to ensure that he was extremely quick and precise with the destruction and regeneration of the brain. Nôv(el)B\\jnn
However, he figured that it would be possible for bone marrow tissue to be sustained by blood cells that they produced and then stress test all of them. The ones that survived would clearly be the most superior.
And thus, one by one, Rui created a specialized filtration process for all the systems, organs, and tissue in the body.
All except one.
"The brain..." his eyes narrowed. "How do I stress test the brain?"
He had the perfect idea.
"I will subject his neurons to my Embodiment."
It was no different from murder.
"But if I do so in a controlled manner, then it might be possible for it to serve as a filtration process."
It would depend on exactly how controlled he managed to make it. But it should have been possible for him to leverage information overload to cause cell death, such that only the most information-resilient neurons would survive his Embodiment.
This would ensure that the regenerated brain would be comprised of neurons that were most conducive to information conduction.
This would ensure that they would be able to keep up with the additional information influx that the brain would receive from the environment.
"And done..." Rui muttered, having fleshed out the final organ. "Alright, time to implement and see if I can break a Martial Apprentice to the Squire Realm."
While it would probably be better if he broke through to the Squire Realm under the Kandrian Empire's method, there was no way he would ever have that chance under these circumstances.
