Poison God's Heritage

Chapter 908 When the Suns Descend

Chapter 908 When the Suns Descend

"shit..." the curse left my lips before i could stop it, the weight of the situation pressing down like a storm cloud over a burning battlefield. the massive entities, the grotesque first borns, were barreling toward us, their horrifying forms screeching and twisting as they bore down with relentless force. their appearance was a grim reminder that victory over the broodmother alone wouldn't be enough. the queen's middle portion lay writhing in agony on the scorched ground, her grotesque, corrupted body still thrashing in torment as the liberator's warped visage etched itself into her flesh, screaming its anguish for all to hear.

even in her dismembered state, the poison was taking hold, spreading faster than before. yet, even as it consumed her, the queen refused to die quietly. the infection coursed through her monstrous body, racing toward her core, but it wasn't fast enough. there was no doubt she would fall today, yet the immediate threat wasn't her anymore—it was the towering first borns.

"rhaaaaaa!" my roar cut through the battlefield, a primal scream of desperation and determination. slamming my hands together, i unleashed an eruption of qi. a shockwave exploded outward, rippling across the ground like a divine hammer smashing into the earth. rocks shattered, cracks split the battlefield, and even the air seemed to quake under the force. the sheer intensity of my qi was overwhelming, sending tremors through the terrain and flinging unprepared cultivators off their feet.

"what is he doing?" panicked voices rang out amidst the chaos as my qi surged higher, roaring into the sky like an unrelenting inferno. my body ached as every meridian, vein, and nerve went into overdrive. my muscles bulged, strained under the sheer volume of energy coursing through them. even my hair snapped and floated upward as if gravity itself could no longer touch me.nôv(el)b\\jnn

i brought my clasped hands higher. "rise!" my voice echoed like a divine decree, rippling across the battlefield and beyond. my qi intertwined with the rotting poison surging from the queen's dismembered limbs, the sickly gray torrents pulsing with a life of their own.

the poison roared to life, spiraling upward like serpentine monsters born from chaos. the massive streams twisted and writhed, their sheer size rivaling the colossal limbs of the first borns. they reached skyward, blocking out the sun and shrouding the battlefield in their ominous shadow.

the first borns screamed, their unholy cries shaking the heavens as they met the poison's surge head-on. "kill him!" the liberator's voice bellowed from the corrupted queen's body, her many faces twisted in a grotesque symphony of rage. enjoy more content from empire

suddenly, the battlefield erupted with motion. the rakshasa, scattered across the land like an endless tide, surged toward me as one. thousands of them, driven by the liberator's command, converged on my position with horrifying speed.

"defend shen bao!" don ma's voice boomed, rallying the cultivators as he leaped into action. a silver rakshasa lunged for my head, but don ma intercepted it with a single palm strike that obliterated its torso, scattering its remains in a spray of corrupted flesh and ichor.

all around me, the battlefield became a maelstrom of violence and chaos.

the jade dragon spun his spear with blinding speed, every arc of its deadly tip cutting through rakshasa like a scythe through wheat. his weapon manifested a massive jade dragon that roared and surged forward, carving a path of destruction.

pillars of fire and ice erupted around me as liang yu and yuyu fought back-to-back, their combined efforts creating a devastating storm of elemental fury. flames consumed the rakshasa, turning them to ash, while piercing ice froze others solid before shattering them into crystalline fragments.

"there shouldn't be one!" don ma yelled back, his voice hoarse from exertion. he struck down a golden-capped rakshasa, his palms trembling from the strain. "the heavens haven't sent a tribulation for over twenty thousand years! remember, our heavenly dao is incomplete!" he shouted.

so why now? what could possibly be causing this? the answer came faster than i could process.

"you guys look like you could use a hand," a voice called out, smooth and laced with mischief.

my heart skipped a beat as i turned toward the source of the voice. descending from the heavens, a group of figures emerged, their presence radiating power unlike anything i'd ever felt.

next to him several others, who shouldn't be here at all showed up.

"what bravery! what heroism!" one of them said as his body flared in an energetic aura.

"time for carnage!" another said as blood red aura burned and roared out of his body.

"indeed, it is time for us to clean this mess," a sagacious voice echoed after.

and finally, a voice even i never expected to hear, at least not now.

"ah child of mine, it is good to see you have grown..."

looking up, it was the suns of the beyond, all of them had arrived here and they were all but not ready for battle.

the suns of the beyond had arrived.
